The choices are:
i) Latest:- This has a lot of options - latest year, half year, quarter, month, week, survey & day for various time periods back through the database
ii) Last:- This allows you to choose the “last” + “x” + “period type” as your period selection. For e.g. you can add Last + “2” + “years” in your period selection. It has several period type options to choose from such as Months, Surveys, Weeks, etc.
iii) YTD:- Year To Date for the current year and same YTD period for the previous years
iv) Survey YTD (Australia Only):– The Survey YTD allows you exclude Non-Survey Periods e.g. Christmas/Summer and Easter Periods.
v) MAT:- Moving Annual Total (also known as 12 month rolling) for the current and previous years
vi) Year:- YTD for current year and full year for previous years
vii) Half Year:- Half One (H1) & Half two (H2) for current and previous years
viii) Quarter:- Quarter one, two, three & four (Q1,Q2,Q3,Q4) for current and previous years
ix) Month:- January to December months for current and previous years.
x) Survey (Australia Only):– This allows users to select multiple Surveys for Current year and previous years for a Year on Year comparison of Surveys.
xi) Week:- Week 1 to 53 for current and previous years.
This checkbox allows the users to select partial periods on their report. This is especially useful when an incomplete period range needs to be compared like for like.
In the example below, the “Latest”+ “Month” option been selected to compare Current Month (July) and 1 month back (June). By selecting the “Partial” checkbox, the date range for all months will be set to match the existing date range of the incomplete current month.
Ratings Year (Australia Only)
This checkbox allows ratings analysis to be conducted for a ratings year. In the example below the “Ratings Year” check box has been selected, therefore the current year has a start date of WC 27/12/2015 for the Current year (2016).
Survey YTD (Australia Only)
Survey YTD has been added as a Relative Date drop down option. When selected, this will exclude Christmas/Summer and Easter Periods.
To include Non-Survey Periods, the check box next to “Include Non-Survey Period” must be checked prior to adding the required period range.
In the example below, Survey YTD + Survey YTD -1 and Survey YTD -2 has been selected. Note that the generic starts from W7 and where Easter fall for each year is indicated by blank cells.
